          1. @carcinopony I need to figure out this vector stuff specifically. I've found tutorials online, but that just tell me the names of buttons to click not where to find that button

            2. @starlightbolt Pen tool is what you need for vectors. Illustrator is better for that.

    2. @starlightbolt Well, you open the program, then you make stuff. Most people use some sort of mouse-based tool, whether it be a mouse, a tablet, or a laptop touchpad.

                1. @carcinopony No, not really. I did it once when I was... twelve, I think.

            2. @carcinopony I use GIMP to make stark, post-apocalyptic landscapes out of busy cities. I spend a lot of time humming the Terminator theme song to myself. #

              1. @scribus wow. I had Megaman Sprite comics. like over 1000 of them and they got better.

                1. @carcinopony You aren't the guy behind "Bob and George," are you?

                  1. @scribus no, I was inspired by Crash and Bass though.

                    1. @carcinopony Fun times. Probably better than my stick figure comic, wherever it is...

                      1. @scribus haha I was grounded one summer so I jsut made comics.

                      2. @scribus Couldn't be worse than xkcd or Abstruse Goose.

Monday, 20-Jun-11 06:32:14 UTC from web
                        1. @starshine Actually, it was worse that xkcd. A lot of it was just me stealing political jokes from the morning radio. I made it in high school for a computer graphics class.

Monday, 20-Jun-11 06:33:30 UTC from web
                          1. @scribus and xkcd steals jokes from Cyanide and Happiness and Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal (and still gets them wrong) - your source material is probably better :)

Monday, 20-Jun-11 06:36:28 UTC from web
                      3. @scribus Still interested in doing the stick-figure ponies trade we joked about earlier?

Monday, 20-Jun-11 06:39:28 UTC from web
                        1. @retl Yes, I am, actually.

                          1. @scribus Alrighty. I'd like to see ponies on balloons. Anything you want me to do?

    4. @starlightbolt USE GOOGLE and freetime. Honestly, PS is one of those programs that you have to learn the basics and dick around with it for a while. I've been using it for like 4 years and I still am not that good
