@supnix You'll find some :) It might just take time, I know one guy in my class who was into it and we got along well, but I only saw him for a week or two before he just left :( (This was before I was into the show though) It's entirely possible there are people that are into it but don't broadcast that :p Patience, my friend!

@renovatedkitchen well the thing about the internet is that a lot of the people here are here to avoid problems and issues, so being introduced to more would be considered unfavorable.

@praxis I don't consider myself a closet brony, but I do become kinda shy about it when a non-brony asks or notices something MLP about me. I still worry about what people think of me, just not enough to hide the face that I like MLP:FiM. Does that make any sense?

@praxis Not expressing your feeling makes you feel insecure, and can cause depression. Tell most of your friends, And If they laugh, they may not be worth your time. Try to make friends that understan you.

@tekkdan i understand what you mean. i always get really flustered if someone asks if i like the show and im not sure if they do aswell. I have a shirt that spells out HArMoNY with the periodic table elements and when people ask what my shirt means i just say "science"

I would also definitely agree with them Praxis, if your friends can't accept that you like ponies, then they aren't worth your time. (Usually acceptance speaks of maturity and the opposite is also true)

@praxis Yeah, then go to some meets. There are bronies ANYWHERE, and they always have meet-ups. Try to know the community.

@rainbowmaui well a lot of this that you are telling has occured to me at one point or another, however initiating the execution of any of these steps is just difficult for me. I feel as though if I focus on feeling more confident and secure then i can remove this unwanted emotional block i seem to place on myself. Ideally an awareness of the issue means that i should have been able to rationalize my way through it ages ago.
