F-f-f-f-facepalm! Man, I'm dumb. A while back I did a bit of speculatory writing about what kind of language and alphabet ponies used... but the first shot of the first episode is "Once upon a time" written in Roman alphabet! How did I miss that?!?

@fnordly I don't see the Japanese influence? It's mainly a pictoral language, with some hieroglyphics, and occasional Roman text.

@princessthelastgherkin It would seem that Bronyism started when the US "defeated" Japan and we all learned to get along with each other and share the wealth exploited from the less fortunate nations, such as Canada.
