@flaredancer Apparently everyone else was doing it. Cambridge, Purdue and Michigan have all run similar studies.

@flaredancer I've long held the opinion that worrying about whether we "should" is why we've not been back to the moon. So yeah, I think people should...do things to deserts with grant money? Sometimes?
