@yodelerty go ahead, youl love it, but whats a papayerrrrruurururu thingy?...
-
@yodelerty was that a false positive? I can't tell
-
@unhipdruid It was supposed to be the word that sounds like "doosh" but the censor blocked it.
-
@yodelerty hehe, what, get one so you can look like a butt hole?
-
@unhipdruid Something like that. iPhone + iPad + MacBook = Something.
-
@yodelerty I believe the technical term is "Mac user." :p
-
@yodelerty apple isnt that bad..
-
@scribus Oh, right!
-
!gameloft, I am dissapoint by your terribly off-scale model of Snips.
-
@unhipdruid Nah, they actually make pretty great stuff. It's just too expensive for what it is.
-
@yodelerty yea, expensive, but, its worth it most of the time
-
@unhipdruid worth it is so relative
-
@pony Well I'm a real big apple fan but i guess Macs aren't that bad and more for people who don't like PCs or people who edit alot because thats usually where Macs are good at compared to some PCs
-
@electroidfire Well I'm NOT
-
@unhipdruid I wouldn't agree - I'm not sure what is supposed to be better as with the competition at all...
-
@electroidfire they're shiny.. That's my favorite thing about them honestly. I don't know too much about them since I haven't used many except at school and back at my aunt's house about 15 years ago.
-
@unhipdruid Yeah. I just prefer Windows to OS X.
-
@yodelerty Yea i agree, im to much of a power user...
-
@unhipdruid I would, however, be willing to run Windows on a MacBook, however much of a hack that would be.
-
@pony Same here due to the fact i just wasn't in the whole i product line and at the same time wasn't much games for a gamer like me so i went with a 600$ PC that does decent on light PC games for a Intel Core i3 2120 with 3.3 GHz and a horrible graphics card :P
-
@electroidfire PCs are more fun to tinker with, but also more aggravating at times than OSx.
-
@yodelerty no hack, it uses normal intel processors, so it works much the same as a normal computer
-
@pony And due to the fact it`s a alot more used than a Mac,it has a crapload of Malware compared to a Linux OS or Mac OS and when you get a malware on your PC,most time it can be a pain to try to get rid of it xP
-
@unhipdruid You would need to hack it to install windows, much the same way you need to hack a PC to run OSX.
-
@electroidfire yeah, but that's usually only a problem when you download and install things willy-nilly I feel
-
@fortecadenza nope, running OS X on a Normal computer requires bootloaders and EFI Emulation etc... running windows on a Mac, requires putting the disk in, booting to the disk, and installing it...
-
@pony True but to those who hardly know a PC,things can get pretty serious when they go and download things or delete important files the wrong way or sometimes a more popular problem is when they put a USB Flash Drive in there PC that was in another PC that had a virus in it
-
@unhipdruid Ah. I thought it might be a hack like putting OS X on a regular PC.
-
@yodelerty nope...
-
@unhipdruid Really? I didn't think it'd be that easy. Oh well, look at me knowing nothing about Macs.
-
@fortecadenza @yodelerty although like ANY normal computer running windows on a mac requires drivers, so windows knows what hardware is what, this is true for EVERY SINGLE COMPUTER, code that drives hardware... its in every computer.
-
@unhipdruid @yodelerty @fortecadenza This is what and how and why
-
@fortecadenza @unhipdruid I suspect that's because there's long been a need for Mac users to run Windows software while the reverse hasn't ever really been true, so no user-friendly emulation software has been developed.
