When you're reading an article and it contains the phrase "What the Halo 3 players did was commit genocide." you know it's time to stop reading. I find the disconnect here amusing, these people handwring about games trivialising death, but here's an allegedly enlightened author comparing killing a virtual alien (or 10 billion) to the crime of genocide.

@colfax I'd need a way to record it and I'd need the opportunity to practice saying it so I* can pronounce it right. I am primarily bothered by people mispronouncing the parts of it that are actually *easy to get right; I don't fault people for the parts of it that are actually difficult.

@toksyuryel The inner-text portion of the formatting shortcode regex is eager (as opposed to lazy, look it up), so it consumes everything between the first * and the last *, due to both being in the right place to start/end a section.
