    Well, I now know what I want for Christmas/my birthday. A new USB microphone that I can use to record my floppy drives and/or Skype with. A Rock Band microphone is fine for skype, but no way is it good for music recording.

        @scribus then i at least should get a real boom for the thing, considering right now i suspend it by shoving it into a PVC pipe and forcibly clipping that pipe onto the original Rock Band mic stand.
