@scribus If it makes you feel better, I'm putting off my overdue apology to my fic's followers and explain why anxiety issues, money issues, personal issues and QA-related issues have made my next chapter 2 months late. This isn't going to be fun, because any honest explanation of life's struggles on the internet is assumed to be angsty murdocking.

@scribus thing is, the last thing I posted on that site two months ago was, "hey guys chapter coming real soon." A longer version of that at least. Two months later with three top-to-bottom rewrites of the chapter later, finally giving up altogether due to having no time to do anything, friends complaining I dont hang out with them - well actually I'm going to drop it here because there's only so much problem-listing I can do before we reach the point which no one gives a crap.

@scribus still crap pretty much. I mean, nothing's going to change until I magically find someone hiring and offering an actual wage so I don't have to work deal with this two-job nonsense. Working two jobs has pretty much nullified my will to do anything really but that's another story.

@scribus yeah... my legit job is grocery and my morning job is under-le-table landscaping. My days off arent really days off because my landscaping boss just uses me longer. and grocery closes so dang late, combine that with early mornings into the afternoon, so even if I get off at 2 all I want to do is sleep. This is when I'm lucky. The rest of the days are both jobs. And since the landscaping boss just pays whenever with little regard for my financial situation, EVEN THOUGH HE'S SUPPOSEDLY MY FRIEND, I'm in money hell. (it's funny because his solution for not having money to pay me is for me to put in more hours, which is what led to all this unpaid time to begin with.)

@redenchilada I have no choice. I can't live unless I'm making a certain amount per month. This means I have to find a job that's magically willing to NOT lowball/screw over employees because all that's available here is bottom-of-the-barrel jobs. I'd have to make $12 at least where I live, which is unheard around here unless I'm in management

@scribus anyway, back to the main thing. I wouldn't have drifted away from my fic so much if people actually ever responded to my updates and blog posts relating to my story updates. It's only ever the same one or two guys with the occasional yay and then negative "took you long enough" or "I dont like this" comments from everyone else who follows it. But with almost 500 favs, but only ever hearing from less than 3% of the reader base, I have no clue if anyone even reads my stuff because no one will flippin' say anything one way or another.

@scribus Well, here goes nothing. I'm going to go on Fimfiction, write an apology under the assumption that few will read and fewer will care, then re-write (hopefully for the last time) this chapter I've been long unsatisfied with. For the record, I kept re-writing it because my story is somewhat complex but I'm in too deep to back out.
