  1. I hate driving. People make me drive. I hit stuff. I hate driving even more. Grr...

    1. @omni You know, you can just say "no, I hate driving"

Sunday, 09-Dec-12 20:01:53 UTC from web
      1. @nerthos Not if it's your parents who want you to bring your stupid friend, who decided to walk 45 minutes to your home to stay over for no real reason, so that he doesn't have to walk back in the rain because I applesing hate him as well because he never leaves me the apples alone and it is all his fault.

        1. @omni Yes, you totally can. Just add "You brought this upon yourselves, so screw you all, I'm not fixing it"

Sunday, 09-Dec-12 20:05:46 UTC from web
          1. @nerthos I luckily don't have to fix it, but that doesn't mean it doesn't stress me out to screw something up while driving when I already hate driving so much. It's just way too stressful to me. Why can't we have teleportation devices by now, so we don't need all this junk? It's the 21st century, why aren't we even at 1% of all those things people wrote about that we'd have by now?...

            1. @omni Because people say they will do far more things than what they're capable of. "That essay? I can do it in an hour" "Heh, drinking two bottles of tequila is nothing" "I'm going to marry the perfect woman, have three children, and live happily ever after in a nice house in the countryside" and so on. See, when a situation is stressful and obnouxious, you just don't get into it. If others want that thing done, they might as well do it themselves. You're not under a contract or anything. You can just refuse.

            2. @omni Teleportation sucks, I WANT MY HOVERBOARD!

        2. @omni If you hate him, why are you friends with him

Sunday, 09-Dec-12 20:07:06 UTC from web
          1. @redenchilada Some people find the concept of "logic" alien.

Sunday, 09-Dec-12 20:07:48 UTC from web
          2. @redenchilada Because he's the closest I have to a "real-life" friend and he sometimes manages to make me not want to kill myself over being a worthless mess. I wish he'd come over less often, though, or at least be less annoying half the time. Then again, I hate everything most people like. I'm sure he'd push me into nothingness again when he joins here, because he'd obviously be more popular than I'll ever be. At any rate, he's the best I have. Not everyone is popular and has a lot of friends, some people have to be happy with one who doesn't live far away.

            1. @omni Things are like that because you allow them to. You condition your own mind and perception, and the result is your current situation. Condition them in a different way.

              1. @nerthos I remember us having a similar discussion some time ago which only resulted in me freaking out. I know you're trying to help, and I appreciate it, but I'd rather be a stupid, moronic hypocrite right now who complains about things he could change if he wouldn't be such an idiot who is afraid of failing. Thanks, though.

                1. @omni As you wish. The door is always open. It's the quality of your life you decide over, not mine.

Sunday, 09-Dec-12 20:17:30 UTC from web
            2. @omni But if you don't want him to come over and you consider him annoying, it's probably a toxic friendship. Talk to him about it, at least.

Sunday, 09-Dec-12 20:15:29 UTC from web
    2. @darkw00d What makes him annoying is the sexual innuendos he likes to make and his ability to talk when I want him to be quiet. Also, the fact that he doesn't really clean up his mess unless I explicitly tell him to. I don't expect a chance higher than 0.01% to find someone else who actually does not enjoy sexual innuendos either, and who wouldn't talk when I wouldn't want him to (because, frankly, I'm guilty of that as well). So he isn't all that bad, but he does manage to annoy me a lot at times.

Sunday, 09-Dec-12 20:30:57 UTC from web
      1. @omni people /only/ talk about sexual innuendos

        1. @mushi Hey Stan.

          1. @anarchycarcino hey car

Sunday, 09-Dec-12 20:36:14 UTC from web
            1. @mushi You having a good time there Stan?

Sunday, 09-Dec-12 20:37:45 UTC from StatusNet Android
              1. @anarchycarcino not at all. and you?

Sunday, 09-Dec-12 20:56:05 UTC from web
        2. @mushi Most people, yes, so it is quite annoying to spend time with others if you're one of the low amount of people who actually dislike that. Bronies appear to be pretty terrible in general, though, at least the Dutch meets are filled with rape jokes (which is pretty much the main reason I barely go to any of them).

Sunday, 09-Dec-12 20:35:56 UTC from web
          1. @omni thta doesnt have anything to do with bronies, that is something people like to talk about in general

Sunday, 09-Dec-12 20:36:53 UTC from web
            1. @mushi People like to talk about sexual things in general, yes, but I've never seen a group talk about rape as much as bronies. I know I may be stereotyping, but I've spend time with a fair amount of people, and I swear that, at least in my experience, bronies are really worse when it comes to this.

Sunday, 09-Dec-12 20:38:03 UTC from web
              1. @omni yes, somehow, like MLP became more about complaining about bronies than anything else. I dont hang with people, but when i did, the only thing they used to talk about was sex.

    3. @darkw00d Yeah, we sometimes have fun. Was playing some Portal 2 with him yesterday, that was fun for a few hours and I guess spending time with some people is good for me. At least, having him sleep over and nothing happening will hopefully help me get over the general fear I have for sleepovers after a close friend wanted to be "a bit too close" (sorry for saying it in such a way. I know it's hypocritical, but it's easier). Right now, I'm just going to grab something to drink and play some FOSS games with FOSS people so I can feel better. Sorry for bothering you with all this, and thanks for giving me the opportunity to vent my frustrations.

Sunday, 09-Dec-12 20:41:11 UTC from web
      1. @omni You're not bothering anyone. The real question is, will you one day regret having this kind of talk in public?

Sunday, 09-Dec-12 21:15:22 UTC from web
        1. @kamikaze Possibly, but I don't have a lot of places I can go to =/

Sunday, 09-Dec-12 21:19:03 UTC from web
          1. @omni I'm willing to talk. But definitely not over this channel.

Sunday, 09-Dec-12 21:20:16 UTC from web
            1. @kamikaze Understandably. I am calm again right now, so I don't need it a lot, but I'm wondering anyway what kind of chat services you use. XMPP, by any chance? Perhaps some OTR to go with that? o,o

Sunday, 09-Dec-12 21:21:59 UTC from web
              1. @omni I have accounts for all kinds of stuff. XMPP among them. Haven't logged into any of them for ages. But when/if you want to talk, tell me and I'll log on. You can also google me (nick, real name combo works very well), if you want to know what kind of person you're about to talk to.
