I remember when it was an odd occurrence to find RDN silent for 5 minutes. I kind of expectred the activity here to pick up mid season 3 yet here we are.

@pony It's a bit odd, I guess it helps that one can hook into any other number of SN sites to interact with them... I guess I oughta do that :) I wonder if there are any other pony SNs apart from SBN?

@pony Haha, joy :p But yeah, it is a bit strange, but not all that odd to me to be honest, I don't really know anywhere that doesn't seem to shut down at this time of night

@neurario last year it was more active at this time. ah well.. I've hung out at quieter places.

@pony Mmm! I guess this is why I get the impression that this is a smaller community than you guys say it is/was, even though I'm user ID 22012 :p I mean it's been nice to see all the older members poke their heads back in for a while :)

@neurario yup. big or small I suppose I don't mind. Depending on when a fan joined the community and where they connected with other bronies each of us has different expectations. Some miss the tighter-knit feel of the earliest days, I miss the excitement of newponies and almost newponies dropping in, but it's also nice to get to know the core RDN members better and see what the close-knit feel is like.

@neurario This community is weird actually. Having actually looked at the requests from the server side, this site has a weirdly huge number of registered lurkers who just sit logged in and silently watching the timeline.

@pony Between the departure of the various people with "Dragon" in their name, Gherkin and Pawnheart getting jobs, and Rotations general disgust with the fandom, I'm pretty much the only british user left.

@ceruleanspark yeah. that's the core group it seems. Minti has no reason not to visit when he's awake (which I think is often still), except that he's been addicted to Minecraft lately.

@rotation I get the impression you've read the title but not the synopsis. C'mon, this'll be worse than the Trixie episode which was actually mildly enjoyable in places.

@ceruleanspark I like to think that after that episode, the Humble and Apologetic Trixie acted exactly the same but with different adjectives.

@thelastgherkin I didn't watch that one. I did read the synopsis for the new one actually. Looks like the writers aren't reading fanfics, but just looking at popular topics, then completely invalidating every fic. I approve of this.
