  1. I wonder if I can somehow set up Skype to send me an email if I get a message while signed out. That'd be handy for people who message me sometimes.

    1. @redenchilada It might probably be easier to put a disclaimer in your status or something that whenever you do not respond within 10 minutes it might be better to e-mail you. On the discrepency of the person trying to contact you ofcourse

      1. @critialcloudkicker Well I never use invisible, so it says whether I'm online or not. But it might be handy to have that there just in case, since... I logged in last night and got week-old messages :x

        1. @redenchilada how difficult is it to just leave skype signed in?

          1. @rarity I've had it completely choke the rest of my internet access on multiple occasions. It also slows down everything else on my computer by being a terribly-written program.

            1. @redenchilada how bad is your computer? I thought my laptop wasn't too good, but it can run Skype in the background with no issues.

              1. @rarity My laptop's perfectly capable of gaming and streaming and stuff. Skype just literally chokes it. Nothing else runs that badly.

                1. @redenchilada I don't even know then. It doesn't happen to me.

          2. @rarity if I were to do that personally I could never sleep, eat, work, or generally do anything but skype

      1. @critialcloudkicker What exactly is a "Windows Computer"?

Saturday, 09-Feb-13 18:09:34 UTC from web
        1. @ceruleanspark It is a computer that currently is running the Windows OS

          1. @critialcloudkicker So my Macbook Pro is a Windows Computer?

Saturday, 09-Feb-13 18:12:51 UTC from web
            1. @ceruleanspark it is a computer that is running Windows.

            2. @ceruleanspark If your Macbook Pro ran Linux it would be a Linux computer by the same logic, but that last one also a bit trickier since if you were a bit of a nerd you would not call it a Linux computer instead a Gentoo, Ubuntu, Yellow-dog or something fancier sounding. ( I have no idea what you can do on a Macbook Pro though )

              1. @critialcloudkicker According to the Wiki, you can run Ubuntu on it, so probably all of Debian works. However, OSX works just fine for the unixy bits I need, so I've never bothered to try.
