    1. @equestriagaming I remember when Oddwarg was still using Game Maker to make EHF...

      1. @redenchilada I'm kind of glad that he switched to Java, even if I'm not all that fond of Java. Personally I prefer Python.

        1. @equestriagaming Java's a very capable programming language... at least, from my experience with it. (Plus knowing it's good for if I ever want to write an Android game.) I've never tried Python, though.

          1. @redenchilada @equestriagaming How about ( and please do not kill me for mentioning ) C languages ? I read something the other day that you can abuse everything from OpenGL that way. Sadly my own knowledge about programming has withered over the years towards being non-existant.

            1. @critialcloudkicker I haven't used C yet, so I can't really say. Sorry.

            2. @critialcloudkicker Unless you plan to go professional with the game, or are using it as a learning experience making a game in C is a stupid idea. (C# on the other hand is basically Java so I guess that's okay.)

              1. @minti I had a friend who tried learning C# and according to him it was the worst experience he ever had

                1. @redenchilada c# Is both crap and amazing. Kind of like Java! xD

          2. @redenchilada I'm using Pygame for my own fangame ATM, and it's pretty legit. Besides, porting to Android is fairly easy... http://ur1.ca/d1ejf

            1. @equestriagaming But it's easier when I'm already writing in the language Android uses. And that lets me be lazy. And I like lazy. (But don't get me wrong, I'm aware of Java's flaws, and there are definitely better languages to code in. It's just a matter of personal preference, for me anyway.)
