    5. @snowcone some over the counter creams, ointments, and gels might help. that or surgical removal or treatment. You should really ask a dermatologist. I never had to deal with scars actually, the only scar I have is on the kicky part of my feet. Alternatively there is what we here in Holland call "Uierzalf" which seems to treat gosh darn everything.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 19:48:56 UTC from Choqok
        1. @broniebrown Because as long as there are sadistic and masochistic people out there someone has bound to bump into some expression of art using both "forms"

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 19:51:44 UTC from web
          1. @critialcloudkicker The pure imagination that someone cuts into my skin is horrible.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 19:56:38 UTC from Choqok
            1. @broniebrown I have been stabbed, I have been frozen, I have been knocked unconscious by a blunt instrument, I have been shot, I know the pain of someone jamming a knife-like instrument between your toe and your toenail, and finally I know what it feels like to have a part of your brain removed during surgery. So... yea... in my dictionary "pain" is an abstract... Now to quote Moria Brown "That is a very enlightened attitude you've got, shame it doesn't stop bullets hmm ?"

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 19:59:30 UTC from web
              1. @critialcloudkicker That is Moira Brown you idiot

              2. @critialcloudkicker Just WOW.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 20:14:08 UTC from Choqok
                1. @broniebrown Meh. I considder myself lucky seen the stuff I have been in. I am pretty sure your list of "damages to your own body that would void the warranty" have some interesting things on it... Heck if you broke a bone in your life you have one up on me :)

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 20:16:46 UTC from web
                  1. @critialcloudkicker I didn't break anything but once I was hit 4-5 times in the face by a drunk person. During sport classes I fell sometimes very unfortunately (such that something could happen) but nothing really happened.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 20:20:45 UTC from Choqok
                    1. @broniebrown ... By a drunk person ? ... Those are usually hard to aggrevate...

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 20:22:12 UTC from web
                      1. @critialcloudkicker Yeah... It was on a carnival fair. The one drunk person hustled my friends, I wanted to help them, I was hit. After this incident I had a bruise and a swelling for 3 weeks.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 20:27:26 UTC from Choqok
                        1. @broniebrown Aye, swelling is a mean female canine alright... I cought a snowball with my eyesocket once... That was not very fun. Swelling sucks

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 20:29:20 UTC from web
              3. @critialcloudkicker You know what you need? Armor.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 20:28:48 UTC from web
                1. @nerthos Hmm, I do not think that constantly walking around with a bulletproof and stab-proof bodysuit is going to be any much more better on my ankles and legs than actually getting stabbed or shot would be.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 20:30:49 UTC from web
                  1. @critialcloudkicker I don't think you'd need armor with a weight over 10kg unless you want to walk into a warzone. 4-7kg distributed along your body is pretty much nothing.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 20:32:54 UTC from web
                    1. @nerthos I mean, I wore steel armor plates a couple times and whilst holding them all with your hands is really tiresome, having them distributed makes them comfortable.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 20:36:58 UTC from web
                    2. @nerthos Lets see, Dragonskin armor is one of the lightest more durable armor's out there, suppose I get the lightest variant thereof as pullover and pants or equivallent. My guess it would weigh around 6 to 8 KG's and I would be about 1.5K lighter. Come to add the drawbacks of Dragonskin armor... I still think that it's not worth it... Besides it is a near impossibility that I am going to get shot or stabbed again...

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 20:42:03 UTC from web
                      1. @critialcloudkicker Were Dragonskin an option, I'd be clad in it completely. Speaking of armor though, I've found a place where they sell military surplus the other day, so I'm thinking of buying regular combat armor and reinforcing it for close combat.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 20:45:29 UTC from web
                        1. @nerthos I really doubt the part where you said that you'd be clad in it... that stuff does not breathe, causing you to heat up like a weatherballoon pre-takeoff ... Second off why would you want to get in close combat ? :o

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 20:46:48 UTC from web
                          1. @critialcloudkicker Because I love close combat. It's way superior to gunfights and th such in both fun and honor, and besides all the petty thieves here carry knives.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 20:47:55 UTC from web
                            1. @nerthos Oh thieves with knives, I hear that. If you want some protection from knives you do not need to think fancy. A tough fiber mesh to wear under your clothes would be better. Since if possible attackers see you prepared they might just want to take you specifically.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 20:50:55 UTC from web
                              1. @critialcloudkicker That's the point! If I engage them first, law is against me. If they attack me and I murder them horribly, it's self defense.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 20:55:35 UTC from web
                                1. @nerthos Actually there is more to the story than just that. Still you do not want to show off your stabbyproofyness or they might just aim for you.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 20:57:57 UTC from web
                                  1. @critialcloudkicker I make a point of seeming as stupidly resilent and arrogant as I can. That helped me a couple times, even. There was this time when I was coming back from a concert, and four vermin started closing on me with clear thieving intentions. They saw me wearing a black trenchcoat and grabbing a knife from under my belt, and they stepped back and let me enter the building.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 21:02:18 UTC from web
                                    1. @nerthos @critialcloudkicker Point is thieves here are stupidly cowardic and as such get scared easily from anything. Contrary to what's smart behavior in other places, showing you're eager to fight them makes them pick other more vulnerable targets.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 21:05:17 UTC from web
                                      1. @nerthos I really doubt that. The nature of the thief always has been cowardice by picking off the most weak target who has the least risk involved

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 21:06:58 UTC from web
                                        1. @critialcloudkicker @nerthos Source: the thieves around my area

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 21:07:33 UTC from web
                                        2. @critialcloudkicker Yes, but here a surprising amount of them are not career thieves, but stupid kids who were raised under weak laws and corruption, and think they can do whatever they please, which makes them even more weak useless and disgusting than true thieves.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 21:08:46 UTC from web
                                          1. @nerthos Ohh, those kinds. Yea it would be more of a shame to kill those I am afraid. Then again without a govnerment project of one sort or another they are indeed more of a blight upon society in their current state.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 21:10:18 UTC from web
                                            1. @critialcloudkicker A shame? A shame is their very nature. They have no purpose, no goals and no worth. They do not deserve to exist.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 21:12:15 UTC from web
                                              1. @nerthos No, I said it is a shame what they have become. Because of their upbringing they are now a blight upon society rather than a helpfull member thereof. The govnerment should do something lest prepared and people with a cause ( like you ) accidentally or intentionally cause their death... Given the proper incentive I am pretty sure one of those people could make an earnest living as a factory worker or some other menial job.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 21:16:11 UTC from web
                                                1. @critialcloudkicker The government isn't doing anything. They rely on those types to stay in power. They too need to face the sword, but that's a task for someone with more resurces than what I have.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 21:17:50 UTC from web
                                    2. @nerthos Body language, a quick tongue, and the things you do and/or do not do are a more lethal combination than any form of weapon as you probably well know. Still if you know this then I must ask, would you seek out confrontation if you could possibly get to kill a thief without any legal repercussions ?

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 21:05:37 UTC from web
                                      1. @critialcloudkicker Of course I would. They are a blight to the species. You know full well I'm focused on making justice happen in whichever way possible, and killing criminals is one of the most direct and even heroic ways of doing it.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 21:07:38 UTC from web
                                        1. @nerthos Although I agree with that you do not see me walking in the dark alleys after dark in the hope that someone sneaks up on me and tries his funnybuisness. From what I hear you just said right now you might actually do that :o

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 21:09:04 UTC from web
                                          1. @critialcloudkicker With the proper equipment, I'd march directly into the dark alleys looking for fun.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 21:11:12 UTC from web
                                            1. @nerthos But what would be your biggest motivator ? To see justice be done ? To walk on the wild side of what you see as the correct path ? To test your worth ? Just looking to kill a man ?

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 21:13:22 UTC from web
                                              1. @critialcloudkicker To remove them from the world, making it a safer place for good people. Don't mix up concepts. They're not people. It's not "killing a man" as much as it is killing rabid dogs.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 21:15:15 UTC from web
                                                1. @nerthos If they are from the same species as you are I do not think you should even think of them as rabid dogs. For the only diffrence is that you had someone who cared enough about you to give you a life in the future. They appearently did not or they would have never ended up that way. Are you really going to cast down your fellow man just because they are beyond redemption ? It would be best to let these plans be known to the proper authorities first. or at least your personal view thereof. Before resorting to weeding out the bad's. And even if they do not listen. I would personally feel bad if I did not say anything. Even if deep down they know already. ... Yknow what ? If I personally said something to the proper authorities and made my case and point about how I would defend myself. Yes then I would even join your cause. But I would not go walk through dark corners packing a life ending proposition for those who oppose me for the mere reason that I am bored. ever.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 21:21:48 UTC from web
                          2. @critialcloudkicker Also it's leather, no matter if it's dragon leather. It does breathe.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 20:48:29 UTC from web
                            1. @nerthos Yes it is leather. and appearently wearing it 24/7 still heats up your own body warmth by an uncomfortable 8 degrees or so, ( sleeveless Tshirt and pants )

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 20:51:50 UTC from web
                              1. @critialcloudkicker I don't mean 24/7, I don't like to wear heavy clothing when sleeping. But outside home? Then sure.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 20:54:29 UTC from web
                                1. @nerthos I too was thinking along those lines, yes

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 20:55:12 UTC from web
    8. @snowcone that you need to keep from doing ? why ? You could try to find a place to get the words "love hurt" together with a picture of pizza or something scarred professionally on your left flank

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 19:41:50 UTC from web
    9. @snowcone Yea I can only discourage you from executing anything that involves blood and your own body by your own self. Excluding slamming on 95% alcohol on a wound you are about to patch up.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 19:46:59 UTC from web
    10. @snowcone It is very hard to judge how far a knife will sink into an unknown material until you have done it frequently enough. Like with Butter, or Oranges, or any form of meat you can find in the kitchen. ( I am a cook as a part-timer ) untill you have done it enough times. Now Immagine peeling an Orange with a knife but you being able to feel the pain of said Orange... You will fail !

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 19:50:33 UTC from web
    11. @snowcone Alright, go carve me a message in an Orange then

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 19:53:22 UTC from web

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 19:56:33 UTC from web
    13. @snowcone Hmm... "love" would be a cool word... as a scar... since it hurts... and that would be all poethic and philosofic

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 20:06:14 UTC from web
    14. @snowcone ... A companion cube ?
