@thepavilionman Apparently their lifespans are in the order of the half millenia. Well, at least when they make it to old, which is not too ofter it seems.

@thepavilionman They have efficient life cycles. It takes them a couple years to reach maturity, and then they stay at an adult stage for hundreds of years.

@thepavilionman As long as they're able to restrain from having lots of progeny, such a lifespan leads to highly skilled and specialized individuals who excell at their tasks, therefore allowing an efficient society.
