What?!? I'm reading right now that How I Met Your Mother gets a 9th season?! I almost thought that this season would have been the final season.

@scoot Don't get me wrong. I like HIMYM but the last episodes made the impression that Ted's story is concluding at the end of this (8th) season.

@broniebrown I also like the show, it's just that it's not funny to me anymore. I haven't laughed in 4 seasons and I most likely won't in the next one either. It's just too dang long.

@scoot I thought it would end in season 7 at first. But you are right. It has to end someday when it is still good, which I think it is.

@scoot Comedies might be the worst for it, but yeah. So many seasons of 24, so many spinnoffs of CSI/Law & Order/Some Other Crime Show, just . . . so much. So, so much too much.
