    1. @madflavors what's the most exotic food you've ever had?

Saturday, 04-May-13 06:33:42 UTC from web
      1. @flamingpandaomg this question applies to anypony, not just @madflavors

        1. @flamingpandaomg One time, I ate a moth. It tasted like moth - AND SADNESS! D:<

          1. @scribus I don't consider accidents as something eaten. I meant something you actually intended to eat.

            1. @flamingpandaomg I'm actually pretty sure I've never eaten a moth, it's just a line from a song that my band covered years ago. :P

              1. @scribus XD XD. Well, what's the most exotic you've had then, scribus?

Saturday, 04-May-13 06:36:41 UTC from web
                1. @flamingpandaomg Man, this is hard. XD I usually end up more with "weird" than "exotic." And, like, what even *IS* exotic, man? I've had menudo, but I live in Southern California and my family is Mexican, that's really pretty par for course. Jaffa Cakes? They're from a continent-and-an-ocean away! Even if they are yellow cakes with orange jelly and chocolate. Caviar? I really don't know, I just pretty much eat food. /shrug

                  1. @scribus Consider an average american's diet. Consider what they would think is 'weird'. Like what you wouldn't expect someone to say."I ate ____!" "OH MY GOD, YOU DID?"

                    1. @flamingpandaomg I once ate something I copied from an episode of Iron Chef, but it was just rice with potatoes and prawns. Still really not "out there," even if it was from a top-notch Japanese cooking show. Chocolate-frosted donut with Easy Cheeze might do it, but then we're back to "weird." Chupaqueso? That comes from SPACE! in the 31st century (or, more accurately, a webcomic).

                      1. @scribus XD I guess when I say exotic, I guess I mean animals you normally wouldn't think of as food. Like madflavors and I have eaten alligator and candied scorpions, and I've eaten turtle. My friend had shark before, etc.

                    2. @flamingpandaomg Oh! Wait - soda can. In elementary school, for some damned reason, I used to eat bites of aluminum soda cans. #

        2. @flamingpandaomg I have consumed candied scorpions on my own volition.

          1. @madflavors I tried the scorpion, wasn't that enthused. However, I have also had alligator and turtle. Turtle scared the crap out of me.

            1. @flamingpandaomg you got me there, I have never had turtle. Alligator is pretty solid though.

Saturday, 04-May-13 06:37:11 UTC from web
              1. @madflavors I know people say everything tastes like chicken, but the way mine was prepared, it seriously did. My mom got the chicken, I got the alligator. When she wasn't looking, I swapped a piece and waited till she was done to tell her. Completely worth it. Turtle just scared the crap out of me because it puffs up when you chew it, so you can choke on it if you're not careful.
