  1. anyway, yesterday I visited a retro games shop and got two things: 1. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. ($50) 2. A used third-party S-Video cable for an SNES. ($15). Both were worth every nickel. The game is awesome (as expected) and the S-Video cable makes a huge difference in terms of quality. Not only that, but if i ever get a Gamecube or N64, I can use the same cable.

      1. @critialcloudkicker yep. the SNES had a multi-out port, the same one as the GameCube and the N64. Nintendo never made an official cable that took advantage of the fact this port outputs S-Video along with composite, so other companies made them.

            1. @techdisk That thing at the base of your thumb/index finger... That goes into your SNES ? I would not know, I never had a SNES. I have a N64 though. I never knew they used the same ports on both
