@scribus Is there such a thing? ADnD2.0 was awesome, but really, customized systems are the best. You just pick a popular system and modify it to your taste.

@scribus I had a couple friends who were test running it a few months ago. Are you kidding? Those books are so expensive. It's like they don't care about the game mechanics, just pulling in cash hand over fist.

@xeleanorxrigbyx Anyway, I didn't exactly *hate* D&D 4, but it played way too much like an MMO. It wasn't a terrible system, but it sure as hell wasn't Dungeons and Dragons.

@nerthos Pretty much, yeah. I pretty much never stuck strictly to the books. Way too much fun to make up my own stuff!

@scribus I've heard it works great as a baseline for an online game, but it always just felt like a board game to me.

@nerthos Agreed. My favorite system was honestly True20. Tons and tons of customization options and only used a d20.

@scribus Pathfinder, according to my DM, is basically 3.5 more focused on actual RP. Going back to the old road.
