@delc17 I accidentally bought one last night for $70. I thought that was kind of steep and ridiculous, but also figured they'd do nothing but get more expensive. Didn't expect by THAT much, though. (I missed a $30 one because I had to spend 15 minutes fighting ebay to recover my account password and get my address updated)

@thelastgherkin I wasn't intending to scam anyone, I just want one of my own and that's the only way it'll happen.

@thelastgherkin But equally so, for every (foolish) person who spends a fortune getting ripped off, there will be multiple people who are just happy to have a home printed copy of the duplicate, which isn't an option they had before, so it sort-of-balances.

@leonkfox I wouldn't MIND the original, but I would be very careful about trying to buy one, and certainly wouldn't commit some of the sums of money that are being asked for without having seen it first. Like any other collectors item really. Also: You got the tickets? Your parents said you were OK to go? I know they were worried before.

@ceruleanspark A friend of mine is coming with me, not quite as we had originally planned (as he doesn't have tickets to the event, and even when the public ones go on sale if he were to buy one we'd be sat apart from each other anyway) we're looking to book a package holiday to cover the flights, and we're hoping we can get them to start the hotel accommodation four days after we fly, since I've already got accommodation from WWE for 4 days as part of the package.)

@thelastgherkin I have a friend with a large form printer, he usually uses it for blueprints and stuff, but I'm going to see if he can run me off a SDCC poster and some of Moe's pieces so I can cover my naked living room walls.
