  1. [03:32:03] Nerthos: Trust me, if I had the money to regularly buy plane tickets I'd visit you. [03:33:28] Amaris: Would you really? D: [03:33:44] Nerthos: Yeah. I'd do a lot of things with that kind of money. [03:33:51] Amaris: SOMEHOW I FEEL LIKE YOU'D DO OTHER THINGS WITH THE MONEYY ;o; [03:33:54] Amaris: Oh, like what? :3 [03:36:00] Nerthos: Commission a hi-tech titanium and kevlar full plate armor, with built in regrigeration, protection against radiation, heat, EMP, a rebreather, a helmet with a mounted display inside and normal camera/night/heat vision switch [03:36:29] Nerthos: Basically make myself unkillable by anything smaller than an anti materiel weapon.

    1. @nerthos Some people, people like me, are not romantic at all in the "dreams and aspirations" area.

        1. @nerthos ......ooooh, that's supposed to be refrigeration. I dunno why I assumed you meant regeneration. >< I'm dumb.

          1. @flamingpandaomg There's no way with current age technology to add a regeneration module to a set of armor. Otherwise I'd put it there. Refrigeration though greatly helps, because it's infinitely easier to move with 20kg of equipment on 20ºC than it is to do the same in 40ºC

            1. @nerthos >There's no way Furries do it all the time to keep fursuits cool. Fans, peltier coolers or lobotomised PC water cooling systems all work in a man-portable format

                1. @nerthos I have no idea why I read that as "Refridgeration". There are automated wound treatment systems around, but they're more of the "Stop you dying" than the "regenerating health" type

                  1. @ceruleanspark Basic injury treatment systems to stop bleedings and a heart monitor are a must. As for what kind of refrigeration system I'm going for, I'm aiming for a space suit style undersuit with plastic tubes full of coolant and a dissipator with a fan in the back.

                  2. @ceruleanspark funnily enough, he was meaning refrigeration, I misread it as regeneration. He says regeneration, you misread that as refrigeration. xD

                  3. @ceruleanspark Also I'd probably add one of these to the pack to make absconding easier in case of major injury. http://www.ctvnews.ca/video?clipId=826557&playlistId=1.1078818&binId=1.811536

                    1. @nerthos It woudl probably just be cheaper to get a fulton balloon and a support aircraft. You can be out of danger in seconds that way

                      1. @ceruleanspark I like things fancy, and I'm thinking about a no support situation. Otherwise I'd just call for an air strike. Or an orbital strike if we're going for a full fantasy situation.
