  1. So apparently the "Elementary" tv series version of the Sherlock Holmes character Mrs Hudson is a swinging MtF expert in Ancient Greek history with a long line of love affairs with famous people. I... don't know how they got to that from "long-suffering landlady".

    2. @thelastgherkin then again Sherlock himself is portrayed as a recovering drug addict and Watson is his attractive female side-kick.

      1. @madflavors Holmes was always a drug addict.

        1. @thelastgherkin yes but wasn't it always a small side note to his overall character? Now it's like a central them. You can't go a single episode of Elementary without someone saying BUT WHAT ABOUT ALL THOSE DRUGS YOU PUT IN YOU A LONG TIME AGO THOSE ARE BAD.

          1. @madflavors I don't know if you're expecting me to defend Elementary or what. It's a pretty lame show.

            1. @thelastgherkin not really. I just thought I would make myself feel cool with my supposed expertise in Sherlock Holmes. I agree it's pretty lame.
