          @crims0n I don't like calling this place a "chat" (I like to think our posts are more substantial than they'd be in a typical chat room setting) but no, I don't know of any chat sites besides the ones you mentioned. There's canternet.org if IRC servers count, though.

      @jessi Big social networks in general are bad about turning into popularity contests above actual socialization and friendliness. Gotta get to a thousand followers after all. That's the charm of smaller communities, is that doesn't happen. (Also it's easier for new members to get noticed)
