They could at least give an estimate on their ad costs on the page pertaining to it. I don't want to have to email them just to find out how much it is, because then that leaves the expectation that I'm going to pay for it.

@widget I'd feel awkward saying "Hey, not that I have any plans to purchase ad space for your site, but how much would it cost to run X ad for Y timespan on your site?"

@widget What I'm trying to say is "I want them to put an estimate out in public, at least for artist commission ads that they state they offer reduced rates on, because I want the peace of mind knowing they're not giving me a quote that's different than the quote they gave for another person." Because I'm skeptical like that.
