  1. # turn 775: Augustus Caesar has a seriously BIG civilization. Harold Bluetooth is approximatly just as big. I am afraid that one turn/day they decide to invade my country, after which point I do not have much choice other than to redirect my massive fleet of production towards expensive industrial age army units ( while they seem to be attacking with high-tier medieval age army units ) and due to their size, one of them might actually stand a chance... I think the age of the first grand war ( WW1 ) is slowly dawning. Poor virtual units who are about to die. Poor virtual blood which is about to spill. Why oh why did I ever think playing this game on marathon setting with only 1 method of winning the actual game was a good idea ?

      1. @nerthos Eventually I shall have my Giant Death Robot's ( GDR's ) and the spilling of the blood will not be on my side anymore... Unless if you count oil.

          1. @nerthos Me neither, I pretty much always had the space race victory. Or the diplomacy victory. Massive output of gold seem to make those 2 the easiest victories to achieve, which I always seem to have and/or get eventually

            1. @critialcloudkicker I always win by conquest in about the modern age. Someone annoys me, then I wipe that player off the map, then everyone denounces me and I'm like "Oh you think you're tougher than me? We'll see if you are so arrogant once I plunder your villages and impale your entire civilian population"

              1. @nerthos I have been denounced probably 33 times now... They keep switching between denouncing and being outright afraid

                1. @critialcloudkicker I consider it a disrespect so I just kill them.

                  1. @nerthos It usually takes too long to amass the resources to wipe someone off the map. Especially with 8 other civ's on the map. Sure I am leading in tech right now, and am slowly but surely outmanufacturing them... I am going for the GDR approach... Oh that is a lovely city you have there, it would be a shame if... Oh wait neither of us have nukes yet... Just hold on for a bit Korea... Also my GDR's seem to be slow on the production today... http://ur1.ca/egi8b

                    1. @critialcloudkicker I barely lose any units so resources aren't a problem
