  1. Oh wow, I did it... I never expected to actually do it, the game did crash and I had to redo like 20 turns or so # ... I AM FREE NOW :D ... Check the amount of turns that went into this game, Also note that near mid-game these "next turn" moments took up to 20 minutes, and end-game was even slower ( 40 seconds ) argueably faster once I got the Romans off of the map. http://ur1.ca/ek65n

  5. # With most of the Romans retreating into their inland they pretty much left all their outer colonies ( Including Rome for some reason ) for me to the taking with minimal resistance... Now I just hope that the Danish the Netherlands and argueably the Russians, Mayans and Siamese do remain nice and quiet for as long as I am harassing Ceasar http://ur1.ca/eizuo

  10. # lets see how I am holding up versus the other 7 Mayor civs still on this planet. Currently I make 257 gold per turn. Meanwhile the Romans ( 49 ) the Mayans ( -6 ) the Siamese ( 2 ) the Korans ( 82 ) the Danish ( 29 ) the Russians ( -17 ) and the Netherlands ( 59 ) ... So how does it feel to have the most economic striving civ in the world ? Pretty darn good I can tell you. It pretty much means I can start to BUY my way to the top

  11. # turn 775: Augustus Caesar has a seriously BIG civilization. Harold Bluetooth is approximatly just as big. I am afraid that one turn/day they decide to invade my country, after which point I do not have much choice other than to redirect my massive fleet of production towards expensive industrial age army units ( while they seem to be attacking with high-tier medieval age army units ) and due to their size, one of them might actually stand a chance... I think the age of the first grand war ( WW1 ) is slowly dawning. Poor virtual units who are about to die. Poor virtual blood which is about to spill. Why oh why did I ever think playing this game on marathon setting with only 1 method of winning the actual game was a good idea ?

  12. # Turn 670: China declared war on me. Turn 690: China declared war on Korea. Turn 700: I roll over and all out attack Shanghai. Turn 701: Shanghai is mine, moving on to Beijing. Turn 711: Guangzhou and Gwangju fall to the Koran's. Turn 714: Kora takes over Beijing from under my nose. Turn 715: Korea announces that they are afraid of me # ?

  14. This is my current game of # ... As you can see on the minimap. I am pretty Darn sure that the light-green ( china ) is going to be run over eventually. Only 2 settlements on turn 485 ? Wow, just wow. Meanwhile my civilization is rather unhappy, and I should really fix that PRONTO. But I am rather afraid of Korea at this point ( navy blue with red dots on the minimap ) ... Oh the irony... Can you guess what colour I am playing as ? http://ur1.ca/eg8hl

  15. # is it just me or is Austria sort of overpowered with the whole politicial marriage thing ? I am running on the largest map possible where domination is the only way of winning. And, yea, politicial marriage things seem especially overpowered now.
