      @ceruleanspark I really like them. They're less concise but the bold headings keep them easy to digest and understand.

      @ceruleanspark It's well written and makes sense to me, but I see two issues with it right away: For one, the part at the end about "You may not post anything digital that belongs to someone else without permission" makes it sound like you're not allowed to link art, music, youtube videos, ANYTHING. That's surely not what you meant but people might get confused. Secondly, most users aren't going to want to read this because of its length.

        @rarity I believe that for liability purposes the rules actually do have to forbid uploading artwork that doesn't belong to you without permission. That doesn't mean it will be enforced, but it's a good way to cover the site owner's tuckus if somepony gets flankhurt over their work being posted without permission. Publicly accessible links to artwork are another thing altogether since RDN wouldn't be hosting the actual image.. except a thumbnail I guess.

      @ceruleanspark The only issue I can think of is that little kids will whine about how it's "too long" because they hate reading but that's a user error

      @ceruleanspark I don't see any issues. Maybe the fact that a few users won't understand what you're trying to say in certain sentences but that always happens. I like how it both makes the content rules tighter and more lax at the same time.

          @redenchilada Then again, this version of the rules focuses on core principals rather than on technicalities, so I'm not too surprised to not see it. Depending on the reason for creating a second account it could break a rule that's listed there, but no more easily than a single account would.
