        @redenchilada It's a Windows utility that taps into the sensors on the motherboard to display the systems internal temperatures. You could leave it running and see if the devices internal temperatures and the system crashes match up.

        @redenchilada IF your motherboard supports it you can also use it to crank up the fan speeds manually.
