@rikka Know how you feel, me and a buddy are starting another FtB Unleashed server now I have my new dedicated box. We are going to TRY and get somewhere with it this time

@rikka Kinda, but we've had five servers in the past, so we know most of the mods now so it's a case of just moving with them and making sometihng

@rikka Well, we are raiding a villagers village and rebuilding it too look better :'D that's about it so far. But we want to (In the far future) create a fully automated system. To do this we'll be using Applied Energistics as it has an AMAZING AS HELL auto crafting system that's almost instant. And on top of that it has a digital storage system that's just flat out amazing. And it's not all that resource intensive too

@rikka When I first found out what it did, within a week I had an entire logistical system spanning several depths of my mine that was auto creating materials and resources in no time at all, it was amazing. Though I have no idea how to do it anymore! Time to learn again

@rikka Aye we are doing the same thing, there's nothing more fun then oil though! Try that stuff with refineries, it's great fun trust me on that one. The other thing to try and do is using the Farms (Self automated ones) then link them via the Ae to digitize them and store them. Then take them to bio energy to power a redstone energy centre that'll power even more things!

@rikka Ender tanks are you best friend here. That way you can go ahead and map out the land, mark all oil joints and move it to a giant Iron Storage. Yes, you'll run out but it takes a LONG time to run out of the oil unless you have some super fortress to power that's the size of fifty chunks

@rikka Yep, it's really useful trust me. Especially if you do something like what I did and make a thermal powerplant that was powered from 16 pumps on a 24x24? I think platform in the nether, before I'd moved over to Hybrid solar panels I had drained the area around my nether spawn with them. But BOY WERE THEY POWERFUL AND WORKED. I have 12 Thermal energy stations in my real world with an ender tank connected to them. It was effectivly this, 5 Thermal reactors around an MFE, the MFE then pushed it's power in to an MFSU, 6 MFE's for each one. The MFSU's then went through a power conversion system to power all different types of machines as well as a teleporter station and a recharging station for tools and backpacks.

@ceruleanspark For Feed the Beast? No, you just need a Minecraft account and that's it. You get the launcher here, http://feed-the-beast.com/ - Then create a profile on it linking your MC account in to there and then pick a pack and go.

@mrdragon Feed the beast is awesome, though I personally feel that Tek-it automines takes all the fun out of digging.

@vcgriffin Can't say I've ever played Tekkit to be quite honest with you, I've only ever played Vanilla with Bukkit. Or Ftb. I fondly love Gregtech, because of the complexity that it adds
