And I'm back... managed to snag a ride on a church shuttle van.

@colfax what kind of stuff do you do during the day without a place to live? Has it all been just trying to sort stuff out?
-
@pony Wander aimlessly, pretend I'm normal, look for a job, deal with state beaurocracy...
-
@pony And stress over every little thing I need to do but can't.
-
@colfax Are you still staying at that church place?
-
@colfax will food places not hire you? I somehow always thought they'd hire anypony.
-
@pony No, that was only good for a week, I'm at a 90 day one now, after that I'm on the street.
-
@pony This town is all high-end restaurants and expensive shops, they won't even acknowledge my existence
-
@colfax bleh. Not even a McDonalds? I thought those were everywhere.
-
@pony There's a strip mall the other side of town with a burger king, and nothing there is hiring, they're full up with relatives and illegals.
-
@pony It's the same as before, I'm stuck in a town with no jobs but now I get the added experience of not having a place to live.
-
@colfax Time to book it to another town, hide in a train and get off where you can.
-
@colfax I suppose you'd need to find a way out of town maybe. busses cost too much?
-
@pony I have to be here for a court date.
-
@colfax Damn, another one?
-
@scribus It was adjourned for two weeks to give us time to find lawyers.
-
@colfax So you'd need a day pass or at least 2-way fare for as long as you're staying at the shelter and going to court.
-
@colfax Any luck? I've never googled how to find pro bono lawyers.
-
@pony None, they wont touch it since I'm the defendant.
-
@colfax so what happens when you go back without a lawyer?
