So I've had another press release sent to me, from the same people as the last one: Message follows: "Greetings! As you’re well aware, Bronies are one of the most misunderstood fandoms around. Today we’re shedding light on this subculture—and the awesomeness of the show that inspired it—with a Twitter chat co-hosted by Buzzfeed and Logo TV. Buzzfeed writers and certified Bronies Ryan Broderick and Katie Notopoulos will be answering questions, but we’d love a few good Bronies from elsewhere in the fandom to jump in as well. Nurse your NYCC hangover and join us for a virtual afternoon of friendship and magic! Here are the details: Time: 2-2:30pm eastern Place: Tweet your thoughts and questions with hashtag #AskABrony. @Buzzfeed and @LogoTV will be retweeting the best Q’s and A’s. @ryanpbroderick and @katienotopoulos will be answering questions…but so can you!"

@ceruleanspark Who ARE these weirdos sending press releases to a small-time community like us
-
@ceruleanspark "Certified"? Do they cool membership cards and jackets?
-
@ceruleanspark REminds me that time I got interviewed thanks to Tinker
-
@colfax Jackets, maybe. With those cool sleeves that tie together.
-
@redenchilada YOU are small time.
-
@ceruleanspark It just doesn't make sense for them to send a press release here instead of... y'know... a news outlet. Like EqD. I'm sure they'd gobble that right up.
-
@redenchilada I'm sure they sent the press release to /everyone/. Seth probably just ignores them because they don't serve to fan his ego.
-
@ceruleanspark Probably. Also since celebrating "being a brony" went out of style two years ago.
-
@redenchilada I'm not convinced it was ever /in/ style. I may submit "Where do you guys get your fedoras?" as a question though.
