    PS the reason people like Beats is because the vast majority of consumers have never used any headphones that didn't come with their device, and Beats do represent a huge quality imrpovement over those.

      @ceruleanspark my cousin has a pair of beats... I've tried them out and I would say that they were not much better than my $30 sony pair... at least not enough to warrant paying $300.

          @ceruleanspark I used to work warranty for multiple companies that sold Beats. They seemed to short out all the time, mostly within the first year of purchase. But you have to wonder how much of that is chalked up to user error.
