      1. @scribus They are a LOT smarter in GTA IV, heck I think even by San Andres they were.

        1. @leonkfox Guess I'm unqualified to say, only watched my roommate play it, never did myself. But he sure griped about the game.

          1. @scribus Why? I thought GTA IV was amazing ,best game in the series bar for the removal of most of the cheats.

            1. @leonkfox Technical issues, mostly. Trying to carjack & he'd flip out and dance around uncontrolably. All the phone calls giving you minimal time to get all the way across town. Chase missions where, after the cutscene, your car was gone and you had to waste time stealing another one.

              1. @scribus Never had any of that o.O Especially not the uncontrollable dancing.

                1. @leonkfox Could've been the Xbox 360 version - unless that's also what you're playing, then I'm at a loss.

                  1. @scribus Yep, I played it on the Xbox 360.

    3. @leonkfox "Wow, the cop A.I in GTA III is so dumb, it does show it's 10 yrs old =P Ran over a guy accidentally in plain sight, not a single wanted star." I believe that was intentional considering the average player tends to run over at least 30 pedestrians for every 5 minutes of driving (whether by accident or not) it would be very bothersome if the cops functioned like actual cops and actually began hunting you down for every single hit & run.

      1. @hershellousyton Hey, it was just a fun poke at the game o.O And I'm pretty sure they do in some of the GTA's anyway (when they see you that is, as I said I was in plain sight of a cop, ones not seen by them can go unnoticed in every GTA game)

      2. @hershellousyton they could also fix this by improving the pedestrian AI, to avoid cars and stuff. I've never played a GTA game before, so I don't know what the AI is like

        1. @nightwillow the thing about AI in gta is that it never feels like a city - it feels like a goofball violent playground, which kinda turns me off

          1. @farragoshy yeah. I'm pretty sure my dad knows some of the people that worked on the GTA titles.
