Lately my mornings seem to be like: wake up, already having a pony song stuck in my head, check Equestria Daily, wonder what I'm doing with my life, listen to pony music, get some food, listen to more pony music, start working on parody covers, wonder more about what I'm doing wit h my life, etc.

Last night I was having a quandary, as my newfound pony obsession had overwhelmed my life so much that I didn't remember nor care about whatever I'd been doing before getting into ponies. I was starting to wonder if I was even the same person anymore and it was a little upsetting. I went to bed with my brony playlist on and had long dreams about coming to terms with caring about ponies more than anything and deciding that I should watch more ponies. This spirit dream has inspired me that I must go all-out in bronydom so long as the desire persists.

Woohoo! After a tragic power outage earlier tonight, I finally finished writing up my interpretation of Pinkie Pie. @pony It kind of comes naturally to him I guess because he has long, very difficult to manage hair. He saw the toy in its non-brushed state and was like, gonna style this. Which is good because even though I've got even longer hair, I don't care to style it or anything lol.

@toksyuryel I had the same feeling! To me Pinkie's been shown as a surprisingly calculating and possibly clinically depressed pony whose obsession with making others smile is what gives her the strength to live happily, and who self-perpetuates her satisfaction by making *herself* smile and be happy.

@forestrain I think maybe when you release the full song, you should name it something like "Ballad of the Love Poison" just to make it distinct from the existing songs with the name "Love Poison."

@forestrain no prob, I won't go having nightmares about it or anything. Like, I suspect, a lot of bronies, I have this strange instinct to want to keep my ponies "innocent" even though in another medium or show I might not care about such things.

@mizuki yep! My little brother and I got into it a couple weekends ago. I've spent all of my time since (and I am made of time) consuming all of the pony-related content I can get my hands on. Jesus I can't believe the stuff that comes out of my mouth about this show that I've only been a fan of for less than 2 weeks. It's so much easier to get into the bones of a show whose creators speak english! I'm used to speculating creative intent through vague, random translations and watching everything the creator's ever made.
