@dynamicentry heh, sounds awesome. My parents are sadly as normal as can be for UK parents. Mother loves romantic comedies and the like (she does like Doctor Who, but not as much as I do) and my dad is a sports junkie. I have more in common with my mother than my dad, but that's not saying much.

@dynamicentry That sounds like an awesome family!

@dynamicentry I watched both as a kid, and I can't remember either having a particular good plotline. The Pokemon movies up until 4ever had pretty good stories, but the show as a whole as borderline flat as far as characterisation and story development go, beating it isn't exactly hard (it was tolerable for a season or 2, and it was great to me as a kid but by Season 3 the lack of development or change in the show's formula made me grow tired of it. Season 2 mixed things up a tad but besides that it's been the same formula of "HEY GUYZ, I'M GONNA ENTER A POKEMON LEAGUE!" he wins the badges, loses the league and tries in another reigon. So yeah, beating Pokemon's TV show is not a challenge :P

@dynamicentry They raised me quite well, but dealing with that religious crap day in and day out was just unbearable!
-
@dynamicentry heh, it's an interesting philosophy (sp) for sure :)
-
@dynamicentry I grew up with religious parents from the day I was born, I know what you mean by too much!! lol!
-
@dynamicentry I guess you do have a point :/
-
@dynamicentry Moving out is such a burst of freedom!! You'll enjoy it for sure.

@dynamicentry I can understand where you're coming from. I haven't watched it in a couple years so I may not feel the same way about it. I did that with adventure time. I liked it at first then stopped watching it. When i watched it like a year later I couldn't watch one episode. I don't even watch TV anymore to be honest. There's nothing on that I wanna see.
-
@dynamicentry I didn't watch it until a month or two ago, to be honest. I just saw people I knew with pony avatars and I was like "...What?" Totally baffled that people were suggesting I watch a friggin' My Little Pony show after the trite that came before. Then one particular friend of mine reccomended it, and I checked it out. I haven't looked back since.

@dynamicentry The only newer cartoon i've really enjoyed beyond FiM has been flapjack so far. They did make a looney tunes show apparently but it's nowhere near the originals.
-
@dynamicentry Yeah, exactly >< Which is why I refuse to buy it, I hate My Little Pony prior to FiM personally.
-
@dynamicentry What's the song?
-
@dynamicentry I've read it before and it's just gross and now I remember that she baked her
-
@dynamicentry what?
-
@dynamicentry *Tells them all.* The told me to say "Moooo." and something or another about eating ruffians.
-
@dynamicentry yeah but I still wish she would come back
-
@dynamicentry The cow was the cow. And the cow could talk. I'm going to tell all the cows from Applebuck Season and Boast Busters that you think they're all griffons. MUAHAHAHAHAsqueak.
-
@dynamicentry Enjoy!
-
@dynamicentry Yes, yes it does. One of the major reasons I haven't got a job before now is because everything needs experience, but you can't get experience without first getting a job. It's self-defeating.
-
@dynamicentry I know him! He's a cool guy.
