@vexfalken Yeah... I do mashups on my YouTube :p Used to have them on SoundCloud too but I was a complete walk-over and closed my account because of automated copyright notifications

@vexfalken I should probably consider putting them back up at some point, one friend of mine suggested putting them up on Bandcamp but even if I was completely okay with rights and stuff (even if Fair Use is a thing) I don't have most of the lossless files for my older stuff anymore :(

I thought the finale had serious problems with its pacing and tone. It felt like the first half was supposed to be an entire episode which had its ending deleted and replaced.

@toksyuryel I feel the same! Without the music i don't know how it could have flowed nearly as well or done each scene justice.

@pony It's a narrative trick when you have to convey a lot of information in a short span of time and a simple montage isn't enough to do it. It's also really hard to pull off well when the entire episode has to be that. DHX really showed off their impressive skills with this one.

@goneairbourne They have lost sight of what the show's about and why they enjoyed it in the first place. I did too for a while, but last week I remembered and felt silly for having gotten so wrapped up in everything that I could have forgotten.

Getting used to the controls in Warzone2100 again by making another run through the single-player campaign. I definitely like the changes I've noticed so far in 3.1, although it does appear to impose a harsher penalty on deficit spending than previous versions did it serves as further reminder to the player that you should try to avoid doing so whenever possible. !vgp

So, I have an assessment concerning the Brony fandom and where it's headed. I believe we are currently withdrawing from what myself and many others consider to be the initialization era, or the Golden Age. This has been a boom-time of sorts, an age where Music, Literature, Art and much more was mass produced, and where the creators of the show began to make shout-outs to us. Reviewing history, what usually follows a "Golden Age"? A Dark Age. And what follows that? A Renaisance. Mark my words carefully, and take them to heart.
