@axelgunn Yeah, I thought it a bit odd, but I'm not one to judge. *looks at Icarus* He seems quite intelligent for a chicken, and I'm not opposed to a companion... *looks back at Twilight* ...Do you think his coloration might have something to do with a spell of some sort?

@axelgunn Perhaps this may help. *produces the book* It appears to be some sort of magical tome... it was glowing when I found it... until I touched it. I don't particularly believe in curses either, but it seemed Icarus was pretty intent on not letting me touch that scroll, and on page 42 of that book, there was a spell specifically referencing the 'curse'.

@axelgunn I believe we may be cursed. *goes over the entire tale, from finding the strange tree and body, the CMC, the book, and the scroll* I have no idea what this "curse" implies... or how real it even is... but it was enough for somepony to commit murder to try and get away from it. Do you think we may be able to find out something about this? And is there a way to... 'trace' the spell to find the culprit?
