http://www.youtube.com/user/PutTrustInFateHi everypony! ^.^ I'm Forest Rain. I produce music (alternative, orchestral, pop), sing, paint, and narrate fanfictions. I love nature, art, music, and the use of technology for good. I am proudly a blank flank! ;p

@hotluna Wait... you can screw up Kraft Dinner? <_> (Unless of course you made it from scratch, in which case, props for trying!)
-
@hotluna hmmm... Mac & Cheese... sounds like a good idea.
-
@greatandpowerfuleaglehooves Lol, really? I think I've only even fudged a hardware install once. (Was installing a drive and knocked a large and badly placed capacitor on the mainboard rather badly.)
-
@redenchilada Lucky you!
-
@greatandpowerfuleaglehooves Everything went exactly as planned. See below. ^.^
-
@hotluna Yup, installed my new processor. Going to backup some stuff off a couple of my other hard drives, before replacing one of them with my new 2TB.
-
Aaah, no!! I broke it! There's fire and smoke everywhere and-- oh, hi RDN.
-
Last night I was having a quandary, as my newfound pony obsession had overwhelmed my life so much that I didn't remember nor care about whatever I'd been doing before getting into ponies. I was starting to wonder if I was even the same person anymore and it was a little upsetting. I went to bed with my brony playlist on and had long dreams about coming to terms with caring about ponies more than anything and deciding that I should watch more ponies. This spirit dream has inspired me that I must go all-out in bronydom so long as the desire persists.

Right, going offline to initiate upgrades!
-
@forestrain . o O ( "I JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT WENT WRONG!" )
-
@minti I used to like AMD... I don't know what happened. <_> I had all AMD and ATI everything, and now I'm fully Intel/nVidia.
-
@greatandpowerfuleaglehooves I regularly run an audio rig with like... 10-30 stereo channels of audio streaming from the drive, while recording, while processing the audio with a myriad of effects... while dynamically loading, processing, and playing back samples from another drive through MIDI. <_> More power is always good!
-
@minti Go work for a telecommunications company. You have a background in it, and it's hella easy to get in with a contractor. (At least around here.)
-
@minti Upgrade time for Minti! Gogogo.
-
@greatandpowerfuleaglehooves Well, my computer can run Ponykart just fine, so I'm good. ;p
-
@minti Neener neener. XD
-
@greatandpowerfuleaglehooves Not terribly concerned about graphics, since I'm not a huge gamer. I just need good processing speed and a responsive drive for all the music work I do. My card is a nVidia GeForce GT220, though.
-
@nerthos It's a Seagate ST2000DM001.
-
@giygashy Nice. I'm not that rich. ;p
-
@scribbs :D
-
. o O ( Damnit, @minti, wake up and be excited for me. ;_; )
-
Woo~ Just got back from the computer store with a new 3.1Ghz quad-core i5 processor, and a 2TB SATA3 hard drive! ^.^ Quite an improvement from my 2.6Ghz dual-core. >.>
-
Good nite RDN! ^.^

@axelgunn *plays the Final Fantasy VII battle theme*
-
^- What @pony said.
-
@axelgunn Perhaps tomorrow. Right now my scenario is feeling quite tired and preparing for sleep. ;p
-
@toksyuryel I think we all get that from time to time. Some of us get it more often than others, or almost constantly. Though, sometimes I think it may be a sort of psychological construct... despite actually having accomplished things, and affected people's lives by our actions, we look back on our time spent and see all the times we weren't doing that. We focus on the time we spent resting, recouperating, and just living, and see it as a negative... instead of focusing on all the good we did during those times we were active...
-
@axelgunn He won't be able to! He's screwtaloo'd!
-
@axelgunn Nerthos just got SCOOTALOO'D! Pwned.
