I really really want some canon character (not sure which) to be acknowledged as something other than hetro, partly for the reason that it could be a fantastic message for the INITIAL TARGET AUDIENCE. lets face it, imagine the sheer amount of mainstream news coverage it would get. @chiefanchor Meh, for me, the difference between a romantic relationship and companionship isn't terribly different. I can feel just as much love in my heart for my closest friends than any girlfriend... and without the "fake" or needy aspects of courting. It's generally why I choose to remain asexual.
