!mintrefresh The [s]fun has[/s] buttons have been doubled! http://ur1.ca/9gtjy
Friday, 08-Jun-12 20:55:41 UTC from web-
!mintrefresh The posts have also been doubled (and yes, I checked; it's the same post ID, not just people posting twice by mistake)! @minti http://ur1.ca/9gtk8
-
@bitshift Yeah, the new script doesn't replace the old one cause of the name change. Thus the double.
-
@minti Aha. I'll just manually remove the old one, then. :)
-
-
!mintrefresh is out of Alpha? Neat!
Friday, 08-Jun-12 20:54:14 UTC from web -
Ok, someone tell the regex idiot how he's supposed to search for the [c=][/c] and [h=][/h] tags in a notice.
Friday, 08-Jun-12 20:14:45 UTC from web-
@redenchilada /\[c=([^]])+\](.*?)\[\/c\]/ig or something. 1st match is the color 2nd match is the text contained within
-
@redenchilada @minti \[c=([#a-zA-Z0-9]+)\](.*?)\[\/c\] is what I use in !MintRefresh
-
-
I'm going to add [marquee] tags to !sconan just so we can make all our posts dance around like idiots.
Friday, 08-Jun-12 19:52:46 UTC from web- RDN's Lucifer and Bit Shift like this.
- Bit Shift repeated this.
-
@redenchilada YES. Also @minti should totally use that Marquee 2.0 thing he made to add them to !mintrefresh. :P
-
@bitshift I think I'll hide it as a secret easter egg, though. Like, a certain word in the post turns the whole thing into a marquee.
Bit Shift likes this. -
@redenchilada >inb4 the word is "butt" and every post is a marquee
-
!mintrefresh THE NEWEST UPDATE WILL INSTALL A NEW COPY OF THE SCRIPT, NOT REPLACE THE OLD ONE SO YOU WILL HAVE TWO COPIES OF THE SCRIPT RUNNING. DELETE THE OLD ONE. #canterlock
Friday, 08-Jun-12 15:46:28 UTC from web -
!mintrefresh 0.1.18 is now live. I added a bit of error checking that should stop it from breaking, hopefully. Can't know for sure considering in the hour or so I've been trying it, it never stopped so eh.
Friday, 08-Jun-12 15:28:23 UTC from web-
@minti Then its my derp Swweeet :PPPPPPP
-
@minti Never should have named it alpha to begin with, hehe :P that's what your version string is for
-
@toksyuryel True dat. xD I never expected the script to get past alpha so I just called it "alpha" xD
-
-
Eh, I'mma just push an update out. Hopefully this fixes the problem with it stopping the updates. !mintrefresh
Friday, 08-Jun-12 15:27:21 UTC from web -
The new version of !mintrefresh seems to randomly decide to just stop refreshing until I manually refresh the page. This is with Firefox 13.
Friday, 08-Jun-12 14:27:15 UTC from web-
@toksyuryel Hm. I'll look into it.
-
@toksyuryel How long does it usually take to stop refreshing?
-
@minti I have no idea. I only notice it when I check the tab and notice that it hasn't refreshed in a while.
-
-
!mintrefresh 0.1.17 is basically perfect. <3
Thursday, 07-Jun-12 22:25:03 UTC from web -
!MintRefresh updated. Version 0.1.17. Changes this release: Like 5 different bug fixes you've all been bugging me about, some changes that may break Firefox (tell me if it does!) and I changed the buttons a bit. Tell me if you don't like the buttons and I'll change em' back.

!mintrefresh Anyone else have any complains, while I'm in the fix-stuff-rather-than-just-staring-at-it mood?

@minti I forget, did you deal with the thing where the favourite button on redashes doesn't favourite the original yet?

Thursday, 07-Jun-12 05:51:00 UTC from web-
@minti Actually nah, just tried it. It looks ugly as heck. xD
-
@minti Neh, not really. It's easy enough to do, but it seems a bit pointless to start pulling this stuff into the timeline, when !mintrefresh is just meant to provide little convenience enhancements. That and there's plenty of embedding-not-allowed videos, so it'd be incomplete coverage anyway.
-
@bitshift Yeah. That's why I quickly decided against it. xD Was thinking of doing it so if you click on the thumb it shows the video, but blahblah huge butts.

@bitshift Yeah my dad said I could stay on tonight. Which is basically "I'm too lazy to take the router." So I'm abusing this time to do some updates to !mintrefresh xD

@redenchilada its roseluck aint it? Lol jk

@minti !mintrefresh Note to myself for tomorrow, implement YouTube attachments cause the thumbnail is easy enough to get. Google it if you forget how to do it. Also make repeats use the server time, not the local one.
Wednesday, 06-Jun-12 08:49:48 UTC from web-
@minti Also watch the photoshop vector tutorial on /r/MLPVectors. It looks interesting enough that you could potentially learn something from it. #notetoself
-
@minti Also learn how to recreate the magic glow effect in vectors since it looks awesome. >.>

am i the only one without rdn refresh?
Wednesday, 06-Jun-12 03:01:15 UTC from web-
@minti No, I mean why would it add them anywhere other than the top? You're always fetching the new notices, which means they're always going to be newer than what's already there. Right?
-
@bitshift Yep, but the original issue is that the dates are out of order on some, cause they're fetched out of order which means the IDs will also be out of order. Don't ask how but I've seen it happen with my own eyes.. xD
-
@minti Fetching being out of order is just how databases work if they aren't told to sort it. That's why you sort!

oh that reminds me, is there an app or something i can get so i don't have to keep refreshing RBD?
Friday, 01-Jun-12 10:51:47 UTC from web-
@widget I enjoy it really. Plus it's faster than any browser ive ever used :p
-
@widget well http://www.opera.com/docs/userjs/using/#writingscripts says id be able to just add it, however http://www.opera.com/docs/userjs/examples/#greasemonkey just kicks my flank.
-
@widget well i guess i wouldent be able to enable it, i do have Dragonfly built into the browser meaning i can do whatever in the page itself only until i refresh, let me link you to another helpful page hold on.

-
Kay sweet, made !MintRefresh keep the aspect ratio of posted images.

@gearbox if you'd like a nice autorefresher for RDN you might try either the !mintrefresh or !rdnrefresh script in Greasemonkey (for Firefox) / Tampermonkey (for Chrome)

@abigpony I'm not that good yet either, I'm pretty good at games, so I imagine I will get good eventually. I get mad too, but I focus my negativity towards trying to beat the game. My GT is the same as my username here.
-
@quilzel I don't like adding people, but if you want to add me, I'm "Guitarerman" on there. I don't know when I'm gonna get on.
-
@abigpony I'm on now if you want to play tonight.

@thatonepony >getting RDNrefresh to work
-
@thatonepony According to @widget it was a bug in greasemonkey that's been fixed now.
-
-
@greydragon412 !mintrefresh is a hundred times better for that exact reason

!mintrefresh If you favorite a redash by mistake and don't unfavorite it before navigating to another page or reloading the same page, it becomes impossible to unfavorite it.
Saturday, 26-May-12 08:12:48 UTC from web-
@toksyuryel Even by going to your favourites page?
-
@bitshift Yup. That's what I was just testing it with; it operates on the original post, and not the redash post.
-
@toksyuryel Ah. That's certainly not ideal, then.

!mintrefresh in firefox 12 seems to cause the RDN tab to light up when inactive even when no new content has appeared in the timeline.
Tuesday, 22-May-12 13:37:53 UTC from web-
@toksyuryel it does it on chrome as well on some pages. the main page, personal page, and replies all work fine, but if you search for something or click a hashtag, that page will go nuts and have (88) next to it in seconds
-
@madykatt For me it's doing it on the personal page.
