@nerthos Nope, Henry Selick directed! Tim Burton is affiliated as being the producer/co-writer of The Nightmare Before Christmas. Although it's a common misconception, Tim Burton is in no way affiliated with the movie Coraline. Don't worry, there is no Helena Bonham Carter or Johnny Depp. Coraline is adapted from the novel by Neil Gaiman.

@nerthos It's about a eleven year old girl who moves to this mysterious old house. She finds this mysterious tiny door that leads to another world where there's these people who look like her parents and claim to be her "Other Mother" and "Other Father", but they have buttons for eyes. It's in stop motion, directed by the same person who directed The Nightmare Before Christmas. It's very very cool.
