@pony The point is that it's hard to tell if people ever completely heal from psychological trauma, but you know if someone's completely healed from physical trauma.

@pony I think the other thing is if I had to experience really severe physical trauma or really severe psychological trauma I'd honestly probably go with the physical trauma.

Just got home from the cemetery I can't believe how dry my eyes are. Cried myself for a good while reminiscing the dead. It's his birthday tomorrow, but I planned an advanced visit just to be alone with him.

A food for thought from my grandfather, he used to discipline me with those words. He never finished high school and was hated by his teachers for being too philosophical. @c The cynics out there might be saying that the giraffe wasn't really giving him a kiss, that it was only looking for food, or performing some kind of giraffe greeting behavior. To which we say, pah! This giraffe was giving his beloved companion a goodbye kiss. If there's a world where a giraffe kiss is not a giraffe kiss, that's not a world we want to live in.

I think I'm doing my duty in my relationship, but I could do a lot better. I know a brony locally who got divorced about a year ago. Nice guy, wife wasn't into cartoons as much as he was, it seemed, and had buyer's remorse for whatever reason. Maybe it had to do with living in his parents' basement, but it probably had a lot to do with other stuff too. You never know unless you're in a relationship, and even then you don't fully comprehend your partner, I've learned, at least not without a lot of healthy communication. Patience is my main issue, I think. Being a model of loving communication is not easy when you're pushed away and hurt most days. I think I could serve more and that would help my patience increase. #rant

@pony I know exactly what you mean, often times when I'm creating something I take a lot of influence from how everything around me is affecting me emotionally. And whether or not other people will receive those emotions is entirely beyond me. I think one of the biggest things for me is that I have to remember why I'm creating something, and not that I'm simply creating something.
