Hey guys, I changed the background. It was previously an entry to the shirt contest, which was incredibly partial and biased to use. I whipped up a super quick temp background of ponies in the snow to fit the stereotypical 'Minnesota winter is forever' theme. @phunkymat !bcbronies Well, we've got a pretty big meetup happening during the con that looks like it'll take about 1-1.5 hours out of the actual con time, but I'm kinda hoping to get a posse together to hang out with. Nothing's specifically planned yet though, but I'm already showing someone around for their first ever con, I don't mind someone else.

@echron1000 Cool. Bring it if you want, but I've got the 720s on my computer. We've got a guy bringing a projector though. Maybe bring an HDMI cable just to be safe, there's always a chance of something goin' wrong.

!mnbronies Anyone like conventions? This summer the group is planning on attending a convention call CONvergence in Bloomington. Tickets before May will cost you $60. After May the price will be going up. Door tickets will cost you $100. Splitting a hotel room with 4-6 people will cost you around $60 as well. That will get you admission to the con and it's panels, room parties (with alcohol if you are of age and have a 21+ ID), and free food and snacks at all hours of the day, even the early morning. Hope to you some of you there.

@shadowflame Think you might be able to set one up in the Duluth/twin harbors area? I want to go but I can't because I live in Hibbing. Also if you will set one up, ya think you might be able to lower the cost? My patents won't let me go to a convention that costs over 55$. One guideline tho if you are able to set this up. I have a summer cp that I go to every year and this year it's in July. June or august will work for me!

@thepuzzldpirate !bcbronies Though, this all does depend on the scheduling still. If nothing that great is going on between like 12 and 1:30, we could totally set it up for a lunchtime thing. People might need to sacrifice attending a panel or two though, which is why until the schedule's posted, I think planning it for after everything is the best tentative schedule.

!bcbronies Also, how would be the best way to get a hold of Daniel regarding this thing's schedule? I'll volunteer to be our representative if someone can provide a link. If @tesla500 can bring a projector, that would save us a good $100 from the library costs and I'd still be able to make the downpayment beforehand if everyone can bring 5-10 bucks when they come. If I've got the right library in mind, it might be easier than going all the way to Metrotown, and also more convenient for Mr. Ingram. But again it depends on the time the library's available.

@thepuzzldpirate Conversely, actually, I use Facebook much more than Twitter (which I can hardly function on). I told him the tentative plan (planning around Fan Expo) is to use one of the library's conference rooms and meet around 8:00 on the Saturday, though I said that if another time would be better, let any of us know over FB, Twitter, or here.

@echron1000 who do you think brought it up? I was there since 12:30 asking people what we should do, I offered Metro as a suggestion because it was in the middle of everything. I also said to look around and see what could be found. Tequila offered the library on RDN while you guys were still there or running around.

@echron1000 !vancouverbronies: I'm going to say this and you need to take this with a grain of salt but what you are asking is far from reasonable. I OFFERED, a way to pay for this so there ain't any problems. You think I'm going to pay for this thing by myself? I was going to collect at the door WHERE EVERYONE IS GOING. How do you expect for people to take time out of our schedules to give you 5 bucks, I work 64 hours a week, I don't have spare time. Second of all, you completely ran over any of my efforts which I had to turn around and delete anything (Even my posts to Daniel Ingram) related to them. So simply put THIS IS WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE before any worries about money.

Here is the link for the rooms http://www.vpl.ca/rooms/spaces.html I was thinking of getting either Peter or Alma, pics are there, they seat 60 and have projector screens. If Daniel wants to watch it live, they do offer internet. How fast I do not know, but I can find out this Monday after work. I can do it on the internet but I rather talk to someone so I will head down.

There are two Community Rooms in Metrotown mall, each seat 40 people and cost $100 for 4 hours, $150 per day. The Bonsor complex is much more expensive, the smallest room was ~$90 per hour with a 4 hour minimum. I forget the seating capacity of that one. There's apparently another room in Metrotower 2 that seats 55 and costs $110 for 4 hours. We couldn't get any info on that today because they're closed. !vancouverbronies Mike every time I post something after I set up these weeklies as been some way or form of degradation of character to me, and I am fed up with getting insulted. The reason I didnt want people to put it on credit or what not is becuase, LAST TIME no one paid, no one I tried for a solid two weeks to drumb up notice to try and get people to pay, and the only two people to show up were Cracky, and Redtia. so I have given up and I have lost trust in ANY of you to come through with money at the door. so I am planning to keep everything tagged I have tickets that would be given to people. we dont know how many people showed up. and I didnt want you to freaking post you would pay for the whole room becuase then no one would pay you back or put money in to the damn pot for this thing

@therealscoutaloo The issue is that if there are people willing to go with money here and at my door and able to meet, I would have to give them the ticket, it would be unfair to hold onto it on an unsure thing, I know it sucks, but I am trying to be fair to every person involved. I have also messaged Mr. Ingram to Make sure his post was about joining us or just see if we had something planned

@therealscoutaloo !bcbronies Tentative plan for me is to take the 6:30 so I can arrive at Metrotown in time for the finale, if that ends up happening and I can get this ticket issue figured out. From there, I'm either aiming to catch the 7 or the 9 home that day or crash somewhere and head home on Sunday. Gotta budget carefully since I'm planning on both BroNYCon and Everfree NW.
