If it weren't for the ability to save anywhere and unlimited times, I would never be able to beat a single Sonic 3 and Knuckles special stage. II find them really difficult and in all fairness, not that fun. The half pipe special stages from Sonic 2 were so much better IMO. !vgp

@rollout You did have control in the Sonic 2 Special Stages o.O If anything, I felt like I had more control over the character in 2 than 3, by a considerable margain. (sp)

@squidbombed I prefer 2's Special Stages over 3's Blue Spheres (although both are fun to play), plus 2's Special Stage music is ICONIC! :D

@lemonite !atlantabronies I believe Mutki is trying to get a meetup at AWA (Anime Weekend Atlanta) in about 3 weeks. I know I will be attending the con, so worst case scenario we will do an unofficial meetup. Weekend passes for AWA are like 50 bucks so its a lot cheaper than D*Con. Hopefully, we will here from Mutki soon. @mutki I am willing to help in anyway I can!

!vgp what have you guys been playing? ive been trying to finish up Deus EX: human revolution and have been having a blast playing the 1.8 prerelease of minecraft.. Endermen are really not that scary.. if you have a river or some sort of body of water near you.. if not then its bad XD

!atlantabronies I'm going to do Braeburn, Soarin, and RBD next year. Those are the three I think I can really work best with and make them interesting. I don't want to wear a costume if it doesn't attract anypony's attention. On a separate note, do we have any other meetups planned? Anything else coming up?

Hypothetical question time! I know we've got a bunch of non-furries here (or at least furries who don't attend cons), this one's for you. Would you be more inclined to attend a furry convention if it ran an FiM track of panels? I'm curious to know. Also throwin this out there for my !atlantabronies, too.

@redenchilada Graffiti Kingdom itself isn't a very great game. The creation engine is obviously one of the better ones in commercial games, but I don't feel it justifies the bland and generic gameplay. An interesting thing to note, though, on of the employees on this game was ZUN, the creator of the Touhou series. He put the Reimu character inside of the game as a hidden monster.

Some of Gamma's boss fights can be won by simply hammering the fire button, the first E series robot that you "save" being one example. #SonicAdventure !vgp

One thing I find odd about Gamma's story in Sonic Adventure, Eggman spends time and money building a bunch of robots, only to banish them for making a mistake. !vgp

I love Sonic Adventure, but one stupid thing about the XBLA version is that are there achievments for meeting each character rather than completing their stories. !vgp

@redenchilada Unleashed had goofy cherries moments with Chip, and then epic boderline melodramatic ones with the monster of the week in that game, Colours' tone was consistent, and said tone works for Sonic games so to me it was great.

Already bored of Sonic and Knuckles =/ Not a bad game, but it and Sonic 3 don't compare to 1 or 2 IMO. Gonna play Sonic Adventure instead. !vgp

@pawnheart I love the second GG Sonic game ,not as much as the first, but still. And I can't remember what Flying Battery sounds like, if it's from Sonic and Knuckles' later stages then I've actually never heard it before.

Just loaded up my Tails save for Sonic Adventure, and I was at the last boss..why did I stop here before? O.o I always found this boss easy! !vgp

Now playing Sonic & Knuckles. To this day, this is the only Mega Drive Sonic game I have never completed. !vgp

@mrn4rmn4rm I would advice against it, it's too short for the price, plays nothing like the classic games despite being a direct sequel to them, the music sucks (besides the start menu and opening themes as well as Splash Hill Act 1) I bought it after playing the trial and loving it. Too bad the trial contained the best level in the game =/ !vgp

@mrn4rmn4rm I didn't really think much of the Dreamcast collection, at least 2 of the games are available on XBL Arcade and there's only 4 of them. As a full price retail game it could have been so much more.

Think I'll play Splash Hill Zone: Act 1 on Sonic 4, out of boredom more than anything. (And it has the only decent level BGM in the game) !vgp

@lemonite !atlantabronies I would consult the other cosplayers in the group. Really it doesn't matter in my eyes which group shows up. The Mane 6 makes more sense as a GROUP, but on an individual basis it doesn't matter. Again it really depends on what your fellow cosplayers want, whether you want to be individual (giving you the freedom to go off on your own) or part of a set (having to stay with the group for pics of the set)

@qwerty @lemonite !atlantabronies I'm glad that people liked my idea with the Pocket Ponies for the badges XD. I was underestimating how many people would be there (or even more so wanting one) so I ended up having way to few, but never fear! I will bring ALOT more to the AWA meetup, pre-cut and ready for badging!

@mrbrown Yes, that's a good game too. It really makes me angry that I save up a lot of money to buy the SNES version at around $50, then a few months later, it's on the Virtual Console for $10,
