@mrdragon with an outdated version of apache that we couldn't upgrade as our webserver. I learned a lot though.
-

-
@mrdragon but Nintendo has never wanted to be in this war, they just go off and do their own thing for the people that like and support Nintendo. In my own opinion
-
@mrdragon I bet they've done those things anyway. Well, I'm experimenting with how much performance it's possible to squeeze out of a group of low-end servers. I can let you know if I come across anything interesting.

@mrdragon It's nginx, I just pinged it. You running a PHP Opcode cache? Memcached? PHP-FPM instead of fastcgi? What's your database running on?
-
@mrdragon What webserver are you using?
-
@mrdragon I thought they had a cluster?
-
@mrdragon I was trying to check what our MySQL server is running at. I benched my personal server, and an SSD backed one, and I wanted to see what a larger servers results were like.

@redenchilada I sent the proposed fix to Widget this weekend and he favourited the link, so presumably he's thinking of implementing it. I'd like to point out that when I turned cloudflare on to buffer @mrdragon's server, it cut bandwidth usage by a full third.
-
@mrdragon well....
-
@mrdragon ye are famous.
-
@mrdragon Thatw as pretty neat though.
-
@mrdragon Ew, Minecrap.

@redenchilada @mrdragon xD Well, the mobile site is good at least for when dashes are spoilered or I just want a nicer reading format.

@mrdragon Do you even know me? It's more often that I demand more food than that I leave food on the plate.
-
@mrdragon It's still half an hour until food is ready.
-
@mrdragon Esperanto.
-
@mrdragon Time makes idiots of us all at some point.
-
@mrdragon Well given that it couldn't possibly work, and you're not an idiot, that seems reasonable.
-
@mrdragon you can also do /gamerule mobGriefing false to make xreepers not explode the land
-
@mrdragon Thanks. I should get my private server running again to test things like this.
