@northernnarwhal Yeah just discovered Death Parade and Summer Wars were done by them, they really are an anime titan.

@northernnarwhal I believe that this also branches out into the creator vs creation...thing? It's the ability to disconnect a creator's beliefs from their work, despite any influence the creator's beliefs may have had on their work. For example, I love Earthworm Jim and The Neverhood, but I think Doug TenNapel is a huge hateful bigot and I refuse to support his games, I didn't back Armikrog, but I did pirate and play it. I really enjoy Armikrog despite the fact that one of the guys behind it has beliefs that I don't support. But what would I know, I'm just a dumb kid.

@northernnarwhal I used to be bad with people not liking content as much as I do, but as I've gotten older it's become more of "not as keen on it as I am? Cool." I feel the same about One Punch Man; it's pretty neat but not the best thing I've ever seen, and one of my friends also gets really defensive about it. People can indeed be scary about this sort of thing. :s

@northernnarwhal Indeed yeah. I mainly reply to people with "If I didn't like this version, why would I enjoy a different version?" It can be a pain to get people to accept you just don't like something, especially if it's popular.
