Once the biggest empire on earth, now compared to Mexico. The king must be sad.

@lcplazureblaze Apparently there's a bidet add-on for toilets. Didn't know of that. https://img.grouponcdn.com/deal/eGWw6orQKD1iHaZfWttz/Ne-960x576/v1/c700x420.jpg
-
@lcplazureblaze Only thing I can think of is someone screwing up when assembling the toilet. The only bathroom appliance that should shoot water at you is a bidet, which kinda looks like a toilet, but that's for washing your butt and feet, not for relieving yourself. https://ugc.kn3.net/i/origin/https://martinher85.files.wordpress.com/2013/05/bidet.jpg
-
@scribus That explains why aborigins near the poles have really wide faces actually.
-
@delores Hey I didn't feel any kinders
-
@lcplazureblaze @scribus There are spinny toilets and pushy toilets. Pushy toilets work great if they're properly done, and don't shoot water outside the bowl, but will never flush if they're poorly done (usually a hole too small, placed too low to flush)
-
@delores My skeleton is cuter than yours
-
@scribus If the earth is flat how can hemispheres exist?
-
@scribus How can the southern hemisphere affect toilets in the northern one
-
@katiekats Oh, yeah, that was the source of some of the one-sided fighting. Someone on this side of the fediverse made an article on it, as the masto guys would freak out and accuse the jmasto nodes of distributing CP or whatever, and the jmasto people would not understand what was going on as they were only posting what's legal and socially acceptable in their country, so they thought the request was based on something else than local laws of certain western countries. Basically "but we already ban the illegal stuff, what are you asking?". Masto didn't bother to understand the difference between loli and CP either, laws nonwithstanding.
-
@katiekats To be honest there's not much of a need for it as they're self-contained and don't really do anything weird.
-
@katiekats No problem. A lot of people seemed to not notice that as I know vanilla mastodon had a mass hysteria regarding jap-mast not bothering to federate past having the servers open to traffic nor adapting at all to the rules of other nodes back when it was created. Whoever made the first japanese networks saw the software for the software, and built a node to use as a standalone network rather than to integrate into the existing userbase.
-
@katiekats An overwhelming portion of Japanese internet users know at least basic English, so they probably understand some or all of it. They won't engage you in a chat in most cases unless you talk to them in Japanese though.
-
@katiekats It's literally a social network for Japanese people. They don't bother writing in anything else because they see it as a local thing rather than an international site. They'll favourite posts that show up on their feed, but won't go out of their way to reach out to anyone who isn't within their e-borders. Remember it started with pixiv which is almost exclusively japanese, and the few users that aren't from there use the language anyway or don't write at all.

Turns out the trick to this men of war mission I had been stuck in for months was to just send a few infantry units through the forest to steal heavy tanks from their rear instead of advancing directly

Let it be known that the only reason I didn't become Pence's buddy is that I wasn't told in time and had to take my cat to the vet.

@shpuld I would have loved to go there with the biggest sign in the whole place, shake his hand, and post pics here.
-
On other news: we have terrorists over here too now! we hadn't had any since the 70s. Funnily enough they're british-funded, but not by the british government, rather by an ngo, and our government is too full of wimps to call the UK government and say "hey we know of some people over there who are funding terrorism pls arrest them"

Pence came to my country but I learned about it only a day before so I didn't have a chance to gather a posse and go see him with a huge sign saying "convert this country" and a drawing of Zeus with his face, lightning bolt in hand :c
-
@gameragodzilla It's really easy. The game just kinda lacks charm.
