@mushi Such a cute kitty. And yeah, if a cat is used to being alone, they'll be a bit hostile to newcomers for a bit, but since they're kittens it's likely they'll get along fine once they get used to eachother. Encourage them to play together, and periodically move their food bowls closer to eachother so they get comfortable around the other.

National events like adopting fascism, communism weren't stopped or sometimes not even even slowed by hate speech laws because bigger social issues drove them. When an idea, bad or good idea, becomes acceptable to the public, then the laws don't stop it, the laws change to accommodate the public. World War 2 happens, and the government uses census information to round up Japanese people. The Supreme Court ruling that found this to be constitutional said in effect "when there's a war we're not going to override what the executive branch thinks will help us win." So, if you're Japanese-American, what did you learn about this event? When majority-America decided you belonged in a camp, the law, the courts, the constitution didn't protect you.
