#totw Twilight inspects this new contraption. What IS it? It is shaped like a firearm, but has no magazine, so it clearly cannot fire projectiles. She pulls the trigger, and is astonished to see a portal created. Already being able to teleport, she realizes that it must be useless and throws it away. Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash is creating a Sonic Rainboom in a five-foot room by going through two portals facing each other

No one in Clock Town thinks the moon will hit them -denial, The Southern Swamp -anger, because they are mad at a monkey, Snowhead is bargaining, for trying to buy their old hero to save them from starving, the Great Bay is despair because of the loss of Mikau, and everyone is depressed, and Ikana, with no new masks and near everyone dead already, is acceptance.
