@forestrain The fillies look at you oddly, not knowing who you are. Scootaloo glances over your shoulder and sees the tree quickly growing and turns to the others. "Hey girls! Let's go look at that tree! Something's up with it!" She says excitedly. "Not right now Scootaloo!" Apple Bloom scolds, "We need to get this kitty out of the tree to get our cutie marks!" Sweetie Belle sighs and answers your question, "No sir, I'm sorry but we have no idea about the tree, or any book. Is that your chicken?" She asked, bewildered as the blue chicken walks up next to you, obviously following you around, "It has something around it's neck!"
