@crusader8 The decision to change her was Hasbro's/Studio B's call, this was a legal matter, and I feel the community really had no right to get involved. Yes we watch the show, yes we have obviously had influence over it in the past, but I still think we're out of line. I'm not worried about whether or not the new Derpy is more or less offensive, they're ponies for Celestia's sake. Yes a petition was a good idea but one can't put all their faith in that and expect in to make a change when discussing legal matters for a show that we were never meant to like. This was Hasbro/Studio B's way of saving themselves from something that they originally meant as an acknowledgement and a gift but that ended up backfiring big time. We need to just learn to enjoy ponies for being ponies and stay out of the legal matters. This has caused nothing but trouble and grief within the community just as the that original thought that Derpy was offensive has and it's time it ended. I want this all to end.
